This week it was announced that Dunlop are to launch a new adventure bike tyre called TrailSmart.
According to Dunlop, the new tyre has been designed to deliver exceptional wet and dry grip, whilst also increasing the performance of handling both on and off-road.
Following on from the success of the DunlopTrailmax TR91 tyre, Dunlop hope to further capture the increasingly popular adventure motorbike tyre segment.
Wet Grip
The new TrailSmart model has been constructed with a new compound, made with high levels of silica, to ensure the tyre remains strong yet malleable in all conditions – helping to provide bikers with reliable wet grip.
The tyre’s tread design features optimised groove angles – in addition to the gaps between tread blocks – which work to attain a solid off-road ride.
